“Yoga means practices for progress in life, practices for sympathetic and harmonious dealings with nature.” —Swami B.S. Govinda
Bhakti Yoga is the positive engagement of every aspect of our being—body, mind, and soul—in connection with the spiritual plane of love and devotion. It is therefore known as the perfection of yoga, and the means to completely satisfy the self.
The Bhakti Yoga Institute is a dynamic charitable educational project based in West London that seeks to develop and facilitate the education and practice of Bhakti Yoga in the UK.
The Institute sets forth a holistic and edifying curriculum, which includes: meditation, philosophy classes and discussions, language classes, vegetarian cooking classes, and gardening workshops, that cater to individuals at all levels of experience.
The Institute warmly welcomes people of all ages, ethnicities, and faiths to visit and learn about the practices and precepts of Bhakti Yoga.
